Pii Digital recently launched the brand new redesigned and redeveloped University of the Western Cape website after we were selected as the preferred service provider during a long and in-depth process with the evaluation committee. With over 1900 pages of content and over 700 disparate pages – which in some cases comprised of several non-functioning pages on the previous UWC website, as well as outdated user interface, this was certainly not an easy task to take on, although for us at Pii, this was second nature!
“Pii Digital was procured for the web development of the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in 2019. The brief was to create a dynamic and responsive web portal that would become the apex communication tool for the University to speak to multiple stakeholders and ultimately enhance the standing and profile of the institution in the public domain.
From the outset and even during the tender process, Pii Digital stood out among dozens of prospective service providers – not only in terms of price but also due to our custom content management system solution and methodology for the web build we presented. What has been even more reassuring has been the security solution we have offered to protect the integrity of the website as well as our cost-effective hosting and maintenance solution.”
